A Good Scottish Beat

Tartan Day falls on the 6th of this month, & so to celebrate this part of my heritage, I'll post what I can find relating to things Scottish.

I'll start with this one, just to prove to someone that not all Scots lack rhythm. ;^)

I'm only sorry this clip isn't longer.

  1. A very good, basic rhythm on some big-ass drums!

  2. Almost Tartan Day already?

But I haven't sobered up from St. Patrick's Day yet!

  4. Tartan day is when we remind ourselves what GOOD whisky tastes like after St. Pats day :)

  5. In the early days when god was creating man he gave the Scots intelligence, wisdom, charisma, battle skills and the bagpipes. There was no room left over for rhythm. Since he had so much left over he gave it to the Irish, because god had no intelligence, wisdom, charisma, battle skills left over for them. He did however give them the bagpipes, and that's why we forgive the Irish.
